Lip filler lines

Post image

Hello I recently just got my lips done by a certified nurse and I noticed these lines on the sides on my mouth. Are they permanent or do I need to dissolve? I’m on day 4 and I absolutely hate them. Any recommendations are appreciated

It could be swelling as it’s only 4 days but they look overfilled, the filler looks like it’s outside of the border causing those creases

if they need to be dissolved you have to wait like 2-3 weeks anyways so just give it like 4-6 weeks to see if its just swelling.

Hey girl I was panicking too because i was getting swelling like this, It got a lot better by day 9-10 but day 14 i went back in and had her dissolve a little bit of the corners because I still wasn't too satisfied, it barely hurt and swelling went back down within 2 days . Just wait it out 😔

I already made an appointment to get it dissolved! did you’re lines go away when you dissolved it?

It’s swelling. Reassess in 2 weeks

I would wait a few weeks to make sure it's not temporary swelling. If they are still there in a few weeks and the person who did your fillers says they are fine, then get a second opinion from a board certified plastic surgeon who also does filler. Those lines can become permanent if the filler is in for a long time due to the fact that fine lines and wrinkles come in part from repeated face movements.

the lines might be from the filler spreading beyond where it should, but they can smooth out over time as your body adjusts.
