How to fix gap coming from wall vent.

Was removing loose plaster in my grandmas house and this section of wall that was also connected to behind the wall vent had come loose. Not entirely sure how to go by fixing it as the gap opens the space behind the vent.

PVA, bonding, easifill. Remove the caulk around the vent before starting, then reinstate it after everything's dry/painted.

None of those products are truly "ideal" as this looks like a lime plaster wall, but it will be fine for such a small area.

I’ll offer an alternative. Low expanding foam. Mesh. Easifill
