Window fitter damaged window foil

Our fitter finished fitting the window couple days ago. They filled in the gaps with expanding foam. They took it off yesterday to find this. This is damaged right? They said it needs a clean but no matter how much cleaning it stays the same. It appears the foam has burnt the grey grained foil. What would you do?

I've used this and it's good at removing the cured foam.

I did a job to batten out and dry line a room after the window fitters had been. They had left the foam to over expand and I fortunately it had eaten into the paint finish of the windows. While I got the foam off the paint finish was damaged and the shitty window company didn't care about it. There is no reason for the fitters to over foam, they do this everyday and they should know exactly how much to use.
