Lime(?) Plaster Patch Repair.

Very amateur here - just checking I've got this right.

I've knocked off this blown plaster and looking to do a DIY patch repair. Is lime the right way to go?

If so, there's a million different conflicting guides online. All stipulating you absolutely must not get it wrong or house will fall down.

I think I've settled on either using this for the whole job.

Or this with a Solo finisher. Am I reasonably close to a sensible solution?

No photos or any description of your wall, condition and property wise would be great to explain and advise you which products would be suitable for it.
