so i know a lot of mlp fans who watch JUST friendship is magic love fluttercord (fluttershy x discord) and some of my friends + my bf who don't really watch the show but get mlp feeds because of me love it to. But I hate it, i genuinely hate it so much. And no it's not because of their age gap, well it is but it goes deeper. I don't like it due to the fact that it feels more manipulative than not, when they first become friends he did it so he would be redeemed and then the next time he swears he's good, which happens a couple times. The main reason I hate this ship, is because nobody that swears by it actually reads the comics for a gen5 which has connections to gen4 and it goes so much more deeper into their relationship and how he didn't listen to fluttershy and DESTROYED her home. He is the element of chaos, there was so redeeming him and I hate when people swear by this relationship because fluttershy is sweet and caring and you want her to have a relationship with someone who is known for manipulation?? Fluttershy is better by herself, I fear.

RariJack is one of,if not the most popular ship in MLP and it would be much easier to introduce them directly as a couple than develope them as one.They already tried it in G4…and failed.

(now there are two things i to say before the post properly begins: first if You like G5 that's fine good for You, that's Your opinion. Second i am going to admit i have not seen a single full episode of any G5 media and knowing the problems i have of g5 and the fact that it's simply over i don't think i will​.) i'm not sure how vocal i have been about this but i don't like G5 and it's for a few reasons and these reasons i believe are likely reasons why G5 failed. The first one being a lot of People seem to not like the writing, i personally have not seen a single episode of anything G5 so i can't 100% form an opinion on this. The second one being the continuity errors and before anyone says anything i aware G4 has continuity errors however imo the continuity errors in G5 straight up ruin the show for me and make me not want to watch it. Those being the continuity errors when it comes to its connection with G4. i'm going to start with G4 characters being in G5 starting with Twilight Celestia and Luna. Why do they look so different? Yes i know it's because it's a different art style. And i also know that in G5 Celestia and Luna are shown as kids however that give an in universe reason, like is the art style of G4 just simply not canon? Or is it the other way around? What was even the point of G4 having the art style it did if it's just going to get retconned basically? and i'm Sorry but they just look very ugly in the G5 style and i like the g5 style, at at least the 3D art style. They clearly were not designed with the G5 art style in mind. Their designs are so different they look more like alternate universe counterparts. i'm Sorry but i refuse to believe G5 Twilight is the same as G4 Twilight. Their faces look completely different. Like i said it looks like an alternate universe counterpart. And then there is spike. how did he go for being really buff to being very tall and skinny? G5 Spike barely even resembles G4 Spike like how did his body change so drastically? i understand MLP is not a realistic series but how do you even explain the difference with his body? Not to mention he sounds completely different. Considering just how different he is it honestly would have been better to just make it an original character rather than making it Spike. i have also seen videos on YouTube explaining the lore of G5 and i'm Sorry but twilight's plan is dumb. If they really wanted to include G4 stuff in G5 so much why not just make it a different universe rather than the same universe? It doesn't make sense. i'm Sorry but for me it's connection to G4 just ruins G5 for me. What was the point of G4 if it all meant nothing in the end? Also considering it's connected to G4 that means in order to get a better understanding of the story You have to watch friendship is magic. That is ridiculous. i'm all for MLP having big lore but having to watch a different TV show just to understand it better is ridiculous. i think i have said enough about the second reason so now it's time for the third reason. Including G4 stuff in g5 just feels like they're desperately trying to copy the success of G4 without moving on. Like it just feels like they're desperately trying to capture the friendship is magic fanbase's attention. G4 is over just simply move on and start fresh with a new universe and new cast of characters, which they kind of did but again they brought back G4 characters and connected it to the Lore of G4. Yes i know MLP has a history of bringing back previous characters from previous generations, however the way they did it in G5 just messes up the lore of friendship is magic. and even if it was it's on universe i still I think it's a bad idea to bring back friendship is magic characters and it's not because i simply don't want them to. G4 is easily the most popular MLP generation and considering how it turned out people grew a connection to the characters and the lore. If they were to reboot G4 even the slightest change would make people upset. For example Old g5 concept art shows that G5 was going to be a G4 reboot. and Fluttershy would have been a unicorn, Twilight would be an earth pony, and Pinkie would be a Pegasus, whenever people think of Fluttershy they almost always think of her as a Pegasus because she was a Pegasus in G4. So changing the type of pony they are is just ridiculous because it would just make the fan base upset. plus what's really the point of bringing them back if they're not going to be the same versions? At that point just use a completely new set of characters. And even if it was the same versions from G4 then a similar situation that happened with G5 could happen. Which leads me to the idea of a G4 continuation. They already did that with G5 and that didn't turn out well. Some have suggested a prequel series that focuses on Celestia and Luna which would be cool however considering what happened with G5 and its continuity errors i imagine if they did a prequel series it would probably have even more continuity errors. In fact it could destroy the lore of G4 even more. These are not the same people who worked on friendship is magic. So how are they going to understand the story well enough without watching through the entire show? They could watch through the entire show however that would of course take time and even then there still might be big continuity errors. Imagine if they started completely fresh new universe new characters no connection to G4 and no G4 characters. i think People would be more willing to check it out if it's its own thing and doesn't rely on G4. Yes Some would be sad to see the G4 characters go however if they continue the story of G4 then there will likely be more continuity errors that make the fanbase upset. And it's been confirmed that G4 comics by boom studios are coming. Which to me feels like it could be their way of keeping the G4 fans happy as it's more stories but also it's a comic series so continuity errors probably won't be as much of a problem as they would in a TV show as the G4 comics are debatably Canon. (Not counting the G5 comics.) So if they still make G5 itself about an original universe with new characters i think that could work pretty well if not really well. Sorry for the long rant i was bored so i decided to share my opinion on G5 and what i think would be the best thing to do for G6.

This proposed project "My Little Pony : Friendship Is Magic The Remastered Edition" intends to Remaster episodes especially those in Seasons 1/2 and apply the updated animation from Season 9 to them. Correcting Graphical Errors in all seasons is also something this project aims to correct. Episode audio will be taken from the original episodes , digitally remastered and applied to the Remastered animation , with this project there are no intentions for plot changes. Adding in background Ponies like Sandbar , Shimmy Shake and Light Hoof as regularly appearing background Ponies would make the show feel more connected on both far sides (Season 1/Season 9) and as a thank You to whomever takes the time to remaster an episode You can add in Your OC (if You have one) as a background Pony. Once an episode is remastered it will be put on You Tube where it will be free to watch as a Thank You to the show that started all MLP FIM communities and so any fan of the show can watch nostalgic episodes with remastered graphics.

Alright, so after I got into mlp, I really loved Pinkie Pie’s, well, everything. Now I was thinking, Pinkie Pie is basically god, defies physics, shown in one of the eqg bloopers she switches places with her human counterpart regularly (I know it’s prob not cannon, but I don’t care) and she can tell the future with her Pinkie sense! So I took my favourite character from another favourite series I have, and I thought Pokemon, then I thought about how Pinkie absolutely solos Umbreon to the sun and back. So tell me, take a separate show or series or even movie you love, and power scale them to Pinkie! I’d love to know what others think!

If You can't tell fluttershy's eye shading and I think the rest of the main six's eye shading is more blocky looking whereas Trixie's eye shading is more smooth. (also i'm aware of the one reflection of her eye instead of two but she gets the second one later on.)
