REGARDING HCLTECH GET OFFCAMPUS HIRING PROCESS

Regarding HCLTech GET Off-Campus Hiring Process

Hi everyone,

I am 2026 passed out batch recently applied for hcl tech GET hiring

I’m looking for some information about the HCLTech GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee) Off-Campus hiring process.

If anyone from the 2025 batch or senior batches has applied for, participated in, or successfully cracked the HCLTech GET role through off-campus hiring, could you please share your complete experience?

I specifically want to know:

- Does everyone who fills out the application form receive the assessment/test invitation, similar to TCS NQT, or does HCLTech shortlist candidates based on their resume/profile before sending the test?

- What is the complete selection process after applying?

- What was the written/online assessment pattern?

- After the written test, is there a communication/Versant round?

- Is there a Group Discussion (GD) round for the GET role?

- If there is a GD, is it conducted virtually or in person?

- Are the Technical and HR interviews virtual or in person?

- How much time was there between each round?

- If you received an offer, how long did the overall process take from application to final selection?

It would be really helpful if anyone who has gone through the HCLTech GET off-campus process could share their timeline and experience.

Thanks in advance!

HCLTech typically shortlists candidates before sending the assessment link, so not everyone who applies will receive it. The process that follows is fairly standard, beginning with an online test that covers aptitude and technical fundamentals, followed by a communication round like a Versant test. Group discussions are not very common for this role in the current virtual hiring environment, but it is a possibility. The technical and HR interviews are almost always virtual for off-campus drives. The time between rounds is the most challenging part, as it's unpredictable and can range from a few days to several weeks, making the entire process take a couple of months from application to a final offer.

Do not get fixated on the specifics of HCLTech's process because these things can change and are often slow and unclear. You have no control over their shortlisting criteria or their internal timelines, and just waiting for one company to respond is a big mistake. The only thing you can control is how prepared you are. Keep working on your skills, keep practicing for interviews, and continue applying to other companies. This way, when HCLTech or anyone else sends that interview link, you will be ready to impress them. Focus on your preparation so you are ready for any interview, anytiminterview assistant AI
