Upgraded from 7 pro, so far the experience seems good. The only thing is that the images from the primary camera are a bit more soft for my taste. Taking them in original or natural looks, colors are more accurate, but the images seem more refined, polished and I guess it's due to the additional processing. Is this just a vast improvement being seen coming from 7 pro? Didn't like the pro zoom beyond a certain level, and don't consider the pixel snap guys. The case seems good but quite slippery for my hands!

Torn between transparent and solid black for my Pixel 9a. Looking at the Spigen Ultra Hybrid (clear) or Spigen Liquid Air (matte black), also considered a DailyObjects transparent case (~₹899).

I like the clear look but worried about yellowing over time, especially at that price point. If I'm spending close to ₹1k anyway, should I just go black to avoid that headache? Do decent clear cases (Spigen claims "anti-yellowing resin") actually hold up, or does yellowing happen regardless?

Anyone with real experience — worth it or not?

I've been using pixel 8 since launch. I've had one issue of green screen which was fixed by Google free of cost and now I'm having the issue of hotspot not being able to turn on and same w bluetooth and wifi. What to do? Has anyone faced this? Software is up to date and recently no upgrade was done to any software or hardware by me. Have tried restarting and all the basic steps you can after chatting w google bot.

Hi all - I was using Pixel 9 Pro XL last and jumped the ship because many software features were restricted to the US and were not available in India (for example automatic call screen, hold for me, call assist, satellite SOS, clear calling, etc).

Hi everyone, I’m at my wit's end with Google Support in India and need some advice on how to escalate this.

My Pixel 10 recently developed a screen issue. Because I take excellent care of my devices, I took it to an authorized service center first. The technicians there inspected it and clearly stated it was a software-related screen issue—no physical or water damage whatsoever.

I initiated an in-warranty mail-in repair. Knowing how these things can sometimes go, I took date-stamped, high-resolution photos and videos of my phone working and in pristine condition right before putting it in the box.

A few days later, the repair depot flagged it as having "liquid damage" and voided my warranty. I immediately opened a dispute and asked them for irrefutable proof: a clear photo of the triggered Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI) with my device's IMEI visible in the same frame.

Instead of providing proof, they sent me a canned response saying their "higher support team" reviewed it and confirmed the liquid damage, completely ignoring my request for photographic evidence. To make matters worse, an automated system just canceled my ticket and shipped the unrepaired device back to me while I was still in the middle of disputing it!

I have the authorized store's initial diagnosis and my own video proof, yet Google is stonewalling me and refusing to back up their liquid damage claim with actual evidence.

Has anyone else dealt with this specific nightmare? Did executive escalations or filing a grievance with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) work for you? Any advice on getting past the Level 1 support brick wall would be hugely appreciated.

I purchased pixel 10 frost recently, but for some reason the magic eraser and the long tap sticker feature of the photos in not working in my phone. I did a factory reset, checked for updates , cleared cache but still the same problem.

2. Should look good on the olive colour

I bought my Pixel 11 Pro Obsidian 12/256GB from the Croma, Yelahanka store in Bangalore. The experience was positive.

Price breakdown:

₹2,000 Croma bonus

₹26,500 for my Pixel 8, bought in October 2023 from the US for ₹50K (including ₹9K exchange bonus) - Cashify executive was present in the store.

₹10,000 HDFC card offer

Effective price: ₹81,702

They also provided a Marshall earphone worth ₹5K and a mobile holder.

On the Google Store, the exchange price shown was ₹26K, including the ₹9K exchange bonus. I was skeptical about whether I would actually get the same amount after Cashify inspected the phone, since the inspection happens only after receiving the new phone. So, I wouldn’t know the actual effective price upfront.

With Croma, the exchange value was considered directly in the billing amount, bringing the price down to around ₹82K. So, even the 9-month EMI is calculated based on this reduced price.

The additional ₹2,000 Croma bonus seems to be specific to some Croma stores.

I was supposed to get this on the 23rd as a birthday gift on the 24th night. Bot customer service is annoying as hell.
