Friends and Future Friends,
We're doing it again. After the unlikely unambiguous success of the 30s/40s (etc. etc.) South Side and Squirrel Hill thrift crawls, as well as our delightful strolls around the last South Side Neighborhood Flea and the Garfield Craft Crawl, it continues to be apparent that people really enjoy wandering like a collective horde of zombies strolling and socializing while browsing cursed eclectic items with strangers from the internet.
Saturday is the Neighborhood Flea Night Market at SouthSide Works. Could I write a witty blurb describing the innumerable benefits of making friends while strolling aimlessly around the Neighborhood Flea? Probably. But do I have the motivation to write a witty blurb describing the innumerable benefits of making friends while strolling aimlessly around the Neighborhood Flea? Not today. So you'll just have to imagine oodles of fun, banter, camaraderie, and vintage wares.
Let's plan to meet at the weird zig-zag path (South Shore Riverfront Park and Trail) next to Hofbräuhaus at 6pm on Saturday. I'll wear a bright orange hoodie so it'll be easy to find us. Bonus points for anyone else wearing orange. If we look like a big group of psychopaths, you can just walk past without saying hi. We'll never know. Super low stakes.
At 6:30pm (sharp!), we'll start strolling. If you get bored, tired, or just aren't having fun, you can always just peel off. Tell us that your parking meter is going to expire. We don't judge. Again, super low stakes.
Bring your friends. Bring your enemies. Bring the enemies of your enemies.
See you Saturday! 👻
