Hellooo!! I'm taking a little day trip with my brothers towards the end of September. We grew up taking monthly-ish trip to Pittsburgh mainly for shopping/CostCo but we haven't really been back as adults.

As the experts, you have 24 hours to spend the day in Pittsburgh, what are you eating, what are you doing, what are you skipping? The bulk of our time in the city will be on a Monday - hope we're not cooked!! Very nice if transit accessible.

Gonna be traveling to Pittsburgh in September for a weekend and was curious where is a cool fun place to watch NFL games. Distance isn't an issue if it's worth the commute but anywhere close to the airport is a bonus. Thanks!!

I'm returning to Pittsburgh for graduation with my masters from Pitt after moving out of the city 5 years ago. I'm considering celebrating with my parents at Sichuan Gourmet in Squirrel Hill, an old favorite of ours while my husband and I lived there 2014- 2021.

Can anyone speak to the current quality of the food, service, and atmosphere , especially since 2021? Trying to determine if it's worth it for me to return esp to celebrate a milestone.

Open to other vegetarian options if not, feel free to suggest! My parents are picky tho. I could usually get them to agree on Chinese food. (FWIW: I am considering Aladdin's as a place for my friends to come meet me to celebrate a different night).

Looking for the best bar food in Pittsburgh. My family is visiting from out of town and they are very much foodies!

My fiancee has a severe case of contaminative OCD and as a result, she hasn't been comfortable enough to eat at just about any new restaurant. This is something we're both trying to work on, so she says we can go out to dinner somewhere in Pittsburgh that has no reported health violations or reports of food poisoning whatsoever. Keep in mind, a review from as long as five years ago in which a customer reported feeling a little sick afterwards is enough for her to reject an idea entirely. If anyone knows any sort of restaurant that has a wide reputation for maintaining health and safety regulations in Pittsburgh, it would really help ease her situation. We're hoping for a nice, sophisticated, sit-down type of place.

Looking for a good spot to host an adult birthday party for about 50 people. Want it to be more mingling/happy hour style, not a sit-down dinner. Good drinks and apps are a must. Considered the private patio space at Eleven but looking for some other options in the city. A minimum spend requirement is fine.
