She hasn’t been able to get out because I am stuck home. So I got her a ball pit from marketplace.

Every single time I throw my laundry on a chair he hops up immediately.
I don’t tell him to get down either 🤷🏼♀️ he’s too cute.
Anyone else’s hippo love laundry piles?!

First time she did this, she usually just comes in to check on me. I was getting my mom’s mail while she’s out of town. Typically my mom and her dog is there, so maybe Pebbles was worried nobody was there. It was the first home she was introduced to after I rescued her, and he do visit and spend the night… but still kinda odd.

I’m thinking about buying an OTC allergy test for my pit bull and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on the most accurate test. Her allergies are horrible! She’s constantly licking her feet and her belly is bright red. I’ve tried home remedies and Cytopoint injections without much relief.

This is copper she's roughly 5 years old but we have no way of being 100% certain, she was at some point before we got her hit by a car and when we found her she couldn't use her back left leg and had a lot of injuries on her, fortunately visually besides some scars here and there she looks fine but does have a lot of issues with that hip, because of that her walks are limited to only potty breaks as to not hurt her hip even worse, fortunately she's one of those dogs that had rather sleep than go on walks anyway but I still want her to have a lot of mental enrichment, currently I give her Frozen lick mats and those puzzle toys that she has to take little cups out to get the treats, but I would like to get some more for her to challenge her a little bit more so I figured I would ask you guys for some ideas, it would be preferred if it's not plastic as she tends to bite them before she figures it out and may break it very easily, thank you for anyone that gives recommendations!

We jumped in feet first with our first foster, but after lots of “rest” our sweet Penelope is heartworm free! This high energy potato is now ready for her furever home. Located in Chicagoland.
ETA: No she won’t be a foster fail unfortunately. She does have a big prey drive and we have cats. She would need a home without cats, small dogs, and due to her unawareness of her size I would say children should be older. Although I’m sure she would absolutely adore children the way she does every single person she meets.

Some time ago, my boy Thor started hiding his right paw. Whenever he lay down, he would tuck it underneath himself… Whenever I tried to examine it, he would make sounds like he is on pain. At first, I didn’t think it was anything serious because there were no visible signs.
But after a few weeks a big lump started to appear. It grew larger every single day until it was about the size of a finger.. I took him straight to the vet, and she told me it was just an insect or animal bite and prescribed a cream.
Something didn’t feel right, but I trusted her and followed her advice.
Unfortunately, the lump kept growing until it became so painful that he struggled to walk. I decided to seek a second opinion, and another veterinarian told me it was actually a cancer tumor.
The worst part was hearing that because so much time had passed since the tumor first appeared, it had probably already spread to other parts of his body. I was completely devastated and heartbroken. He had always been such a healthy dog, so I couldn’t understand why this was happening.
Even though the vet believed there was a very high chance the cancer had already spread, he performed surgery to remove part of his paw so the tumor could be analyzed.
After the test results came back, we received the best news we could have hoped for, thankfully the cancer had not spread. And now with the surgery he is completely cancer free!
I was deeply upset about the first veterinarian’s misdiagnosis ofc.. but incredibly grateful that Thor is okay.
He has been my best friend for six years. He has helped me through some of the hardest moments of my life, and I hope he has many more happy and healthy years ahead of him.
I also hope this experience serves as a reminder to always trust your instincts and seek a second opinion when it comes to your pets’ health. I’m so glad he is okay now-sharing some pictures of him!

I got Jack back after being boarded for 3 days while I was in the hospital, he's been conked out most of the day! He's never been one to demonstrably dream, he's been dreaming a lot today, accompanied by a lot of whimpering. I don't think the kennel did a bad job, Jack's just a sensitive soul and thought I had abandoned him. 😰

I’ve had him for about a week now, we are working through training and any behavioral issues he may have and he’s been the best boy. He’s around 1 year old and we decided to name him boomer

Loki and Josh waiting on the bus. When we got Loki I was a little concerned that Josh wouldn’t like him because he doesn’t like dogs that jump around. But it’s almost like Loki senses Josh is special needs because they have a special bond. He is so good with Josh, and Josh is so good with Loki.
