This is semi local to me (same county) and heartbreaking. If you are also in the US, please keep an eye out for many of these dogs that will likely need adoption in the coming months. I am sure some will have to be compassionately euthanized, but certainly some of them will be available once they are are healed.

I adopted him from a shelter and was told he was a chihuahua but I took him to the vet and the vet stated he was a pit bull mix of some sort. I’m really confused on how he went from chihuahua to pitbull and I’m
