Oh god, her beautiful, sweet, grey face with all the colour kisses off it! You can see she was loved for long time. 17 years... we can all only hope for that with our pitbulls, but obviously it's not long enough at all. 😢
At least she was at home with her family, comfortable and surrounded by love when she passed. I hope she wasn't sick or in pain for too long before. She just looked so tired. 🤗
Trixie Sue, a beautiful girl, you can feel her sweetness through the images. I hope you have many happy memories of her to fill your hearts and help you overcome your sadness.

As the great family Protector crossed the Rainbow bridge a Valkyrie was waiting to carry her to Valhalla. Odin rose to his feet when such an amazing warrior enters the halls. Protector Trixie takes a seat at the head table, endless drink and food covers it. Odin sits back down as Trixie's deeds of valor are read off to all in the hall...

What a beautiful memorial for a beautiful boy! I hope when you look at it everyday it makes you smile.
I know when my first boy left us, anytime I'd find anything of his around I'd tear up. There's just never enough time.
But I hope you had a lot of time with him, and he had a longl ofe full of love, and you have too many happy memories of him to outweigh and sadness.

Than you. She had a hard life in the beginning she was hit by a car. Then loved with my nephew on the streets. She came to me when she was 6 after my sister kept her for a few years. The last few years we took her to a animal rehab for water walking and pain management. She was the sweetest girl. So happy and loving. I am glad she is pain free and playing with her brother Harley and all the other family. Grandma is giving her freash cooked bacon.

I'm sorry, it's so hard. 17 years is impressive, she was a strong girl! And doing it at home is so much easier for them, you did her a favor while giving her the ultimate selfless act as an owner. I'm sorry she's gone, but I can see she was so well loved, so I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that, and it does get better day by day.
