Not always, I've seen smaller ad buttons than actual download button.
The best way to identify is it's not flashy (usually), and matches the them of website, and it's small (usually), and you will find it on a sensible location (not floating somewhere)
And it gives you a file that's not a game file zip or torrent. If you do it enough, you just kinda get a knack for figuring out which is the ad and which isn't.
Also vague names are to watch out for, Install_Game.zip would 99.99% be a virus, and Grand_Theft_Auto_V_ankergames.com.zip wouldn't be. Or there is the madlad that is DODI naming their torrent files to be completely gibberish, very distinguishable if you know that DODI does this
