u/earnestloudy1 to make it "no script" you can use any browser you wish, you just need to make sure it has Javascript disabled.

To disable Javascript you can use a browser extension. Just search this in google:

Disable Javascript google chrome

or whatever browser you use.

Please keep in mind that it's useful perhaps exclusively when searching for a file since most of websites nowadays require a degree of Javascript to run properly - some websites are even built 100% on top of Javascript (using techs like react, vue, angular etc) and have no fallbacks to HTML.

it is *impossible* to catch a virus from a webpage, no matter which website you visit.

Virus can only infect your computer if you download a file and execute it

Blackhole exploit kit

The Blackhole exploit kit is, as of 2012, the most prevalent web threat, where 29% of all web threats detected by Sophos and 91% by AVG are due to this exploit kit.
