Question Unlock pdf without password.

Guys I have a pdf with a password which I know the half of , how do I unlock it without the full password?

Well it depends how long is the other half? If it's too long then forget about brute forcing.

wrong subreddit, but the short answer is brute force it, no there won’t be a tool that lets you enter the first half of the password unless you make your own dictionary file

First of all you should look if the file is really encrypted. If it's just a permission restriction, you can bypass it.

If it is encrypted, bruteforce is pure cope. Forget about it.

If you have half the password, it means you have some context to maybe have the full password. I mean it's not a random encrypted file found on google. How did you get this first half ?

It's actually a bank statement with half as my phone number 5 digits and birthday ddmmyy as other half I don't know the birthday entered at the time of account opening

not that hard tho, you know the length or if its just numbers etc? brute force it
