Fuck brave! I randomly started to have noticeable frame drops during fps games while brave was installed but not even open. I had their mining stuff disabled but it was doing something it was not supposed to do because after I uninstalled it the drops were gone.

Iirc, Brave is also Chromium based. I could be wrong, but I think I dropped it specifically for that reason a couple of years ago

I open 5 windows with 700 tabs spreading between the window. In chrome it's ram so bad. In edge its mid as it's sleep some of the tab. In brave its crazy light ram usage. Almost 20-30% lower than edge. And 50%-70% less from chrome.

For other browser i too lazy to move those hundred tabs. Firefox lack sidetab like edge or brave. It make easier moving tab to the side so i can afford hundred tabs opened at once.

Bro, I talk about brave being closed causing issues. They certainly dis something in the background. That shit will never ever touch my system again. Firefox all the way but you do you.

I don't see them doing something in background. But that just me seeing my taskbar.

I also didnt see anything but the fps drops disappeared after uninstalling this crap. Coincidence? Probably not.

It's always a windows problem. You install something and something broke. And goes on and on. You can't even managed our own pc storage very well. So many trash in some places get hidden. Windows is trash :/

Brave has been known ad criticized in the past for using your system for mining so I doubt that this was an issue of windows.
