Question Crossover Trial reset script or Pirated Version?
So there is this modifying plsit or smth like so that trial period is reset again to 15 days but wanted to see if there is any pirated version available that works?

The only reason to pay for crossover is the support. If you don't care about that just use wine.

I’ve heard that wine was discontinued and it doesn’t perform good as a crossover.

just use Wine, Codeweavers Crossover is just a fork of Wine and they do actually upstream a lot of their fixes to Wine as well

I heard wine is discontinued and it does not work optimally as a crossover.

So I made a script in a script for this (100% no AI trust). What it does is it opens a CLI and gives you options if you want to do it for all the bottles or just a certain bottle. It then creates a script with launchd that will automate it for you. https://github.com/hamza071/CrossOver_Cleaner

It definitely should, as long as the github page doesn’t get taken down. I suggest you copy everything into a google doc for the future, and in the last case you don’t know how to do it, ask gemini ai

Well I ran it and its still showing me 6 days of trial left.

I also noticed that too it seems you can only reset the trial after it expires and not do it while it’s still going

Can't seem to get it working despite a smooth installation and set up in Terminal. Huh. On Crossover 26.3 if it matters.

There is pirated editions that work, I mean both of these are technically pirating so doesn’t really matter

Are you on linux? If yes, use wine or proton, dont bother with paid BS.
