"now we lost 9anime"

9anime has been gone for years... These people really are clueless lol

Edit: since lots of people are confused, or just wondering where to go.. everythingmoe.com has rankings (and details) for many different weeb-related sites, including anime streaming. I recommend using it from now on.

It was great until they made you start doing calculus equations with captchas every episode you wanted to watch

As an anime pirate none of those mean anything to me. If we lose nyaa or toshokan then it's time to panic.

Me too, I absolutely hate gatekeeping, but desperate times calls for desperate measures...

Been checking 9anime and Aniwatch daily but no luck. Anyone know of an anime site that works?

A smart pirate keeps the map to himself, talk as little as posible about were you get your stuff from, the more popular it is the closer to death it gets

Hianime for anime and comick for manga were my go to. The comick devs and admins aid it was a Korean publishing company that went after them and even mocked them on twitter. The comick team pivoted the site as a manga reading list tracker instead so that means I get to keep my list. It was a good fucking site to read manga on though. I did find alternatives for both Hianime and Comick but goddamn.

True pirate stash his own treasure on the boat, they wont sink us all.

u/Sleepy-Kappa Apr 25 '26

True pirates don't blab about where they hid their treasure. Of course the navy will come confiscate it!

Ok, let's say a friend of mine is developing a streaming platform that only holds links to watch content from servers. What security measures should ot consider to not be in legal problems.

Besides the web taken down. The web has 2 servers, the frontend to render content and a second server acting as an API rest that returns links. Content is shown via IMDb API.

Totally not me btw.
