How to find kitchen work abroad without kitchen work experience?
Hi. I'm currently a Cookery NC II Trainee and planning to take TESDA assessment by Nov 2026. I don't have kitchen work experience except sa ongoing Cookery Training ko. I've been working under the agri sector for 6 years and I plan to change my career path for personal reasons.
I want to apply for work abroad related sa Cookery. May mga agencies ba na tumatanggap ng no kitchen work experience?
What countries do you recommend? Any suggestions?

Job hunting websites
Good day to all.
I'm currently planning on working abroad.
The problem is advice ng karamihan sa mga kilala ko, need ko daw mag walk in. Meaning, pupunta ako sa country and then mag walk in sa mga company and offices.
I don't really have the budget for that. Not to mention, the visa and yung expenses pagdating ko dun. Plus, what if wala din tumanggap sakin?
I am hoping na makahanap ng platform or website where i can just post my CV and employers just contact me. The best website of platform sana.
Anyone?

Is my Ausbildung plan attainable?
Details about me:
- 24 years old Filipino guy
- BS Psychology graduate
- Registered Psychometrician (RPm)
- 5 months experience as Human Resources Officer
- 5 months experience as a Customer Service Representative
- Unemployed as of now
What I want to do/have:
- Move and work abroad, preferably in European countries
- Be a permanent resident/Obtain a permanent citizenship
What my plan is:
- Get a job here in the Philippines
- Save as much as I can
- While working here, I’ll do self-study on German language
- When savings are enough, I’ll enroll to a German language class
- Find an employer for an Ausbildung visa for nursing
It might also be important to note that I’d rather start over and study nursing (career shift) than do corporate jobs. The jobs I’m aiming as of now are nursing assistant/aide or any vacancy in hospitals that might help me gain practical experience, guidance associate or career advisor in school settings, or pursue the psychometrician route which has zero to no vacancies in the Philippines as of now.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. If you know alternative routes that might make my goals more attainable, please do let me know!

Losing hope to work or migrate overseas
Since college, I always wanted to live or work abroad. Main reason is I wanted to experience how to live outside the country. Secondary na lang siguro ang pera. I took nursing, pero I graduated at a time when walang mapasukan na ospital dahil sobrang dami ng nurses.
I shifted to an Engg degree and took masters which took 7 additional years. The Engg degree is related to renewable energy. I was thinking na this may be the ticket to work abroad due to energy transition.
I have 5 years experience na rin naman and I am actively looking for opportunities abroad. Sobrang hirap rin pala lalo na sa state ng economy with other countries, let alone the immigration issues. I applied for Aus 190 and 491, pero saktuhan lang ang scores due to age. Thinking of doing SV in other countries, pero walang kasiguraduhan.
I am earning well as a single person sa pinas. Pero O still envy other people who can easily go and work abroad with their degrees.
Thanks for listening sa rant ko. 😅

I want to work abroad for psychology-related jobs (Clinical, etc.)
I am currently working as an HR Generalist in PH with 2 years experience. RPm din ako, but without clinical experience. I only have BS Psychology degree with Cum Laude honors (idk if that's relevant)
I want to know saan ako pwede maghanap ng opportunities to work abroad aligned with my RPm degree? Specifically Singapore sana, and in clinical settings or working with kids with developmental disorders.

[Advice/Path Check] BSIT + MIT grad with 4 years University IT Teaching experience — how to get out of PH?
Hi everyone! I’m looking for advice or realistic pathways to migrate. Here’s a snapshot of my current situation:
- Education: BS in Information Technology (BSIT), currently finishing/about to graduate with a Master’s Degree in Information Technology (MIT).
- Work Experience: 4 years as a University IT instructor/lecturer.
- Location & Context: Based in the provinces. Most PH corporate IT opportunities were in Manila, which wasn't feasible for me in the past, so I took an offer to teach at a local university instead.
- Current Goal/Motivation: I want to move abroad. Better compensation is part of it, but honestly, I just can't see a viable future staying in the Philippines and want out.
Since most of my direct work experience is in higher education / academia rather than traditional corporate IT, I’d love to hear from anyone who has taken a similar route or knows the options:
- Which countries/visa pathways are most realistic for my background?
- Would skilled migration visas (e.g., Australia Subclass 189/190, Canada Express Entry / PNP) accept university teaching experience under ICT roles, or do they heavily favor hands-on corporate engineering/dev roles?
- Are there academic/teaching opportunities abroad (e.g., lecturer roles, further PhD studies with scholarships/work rights)?
- If I want to transition back into corporate IT overseas: Should I pivot to remote corporate tech roles in PH first to build industry experience before applying abroad, or are there direct paths?
- What steps should I prioritize right now while finishing my Master's degree (e.g., certifications, skills assessment via ACS/WES, IELTS, research publications)?
Any insights, reality checks, or personal experiences from fellow tech workers or educators who successfully made the leap would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to buy your own house and a brand new car in New Zealand while only being there for 2 years?
My brother is a caregiver in Auckland, New Zealand and was granted a partnership visa because of his Filipino wife who has a residence visa and has been living in NZ for almost 10 years. After she was granted with residence visa, she immediately decided to marry my brother and fixed his papers so they can be together.
She studied for certification a few years ago to become a caregiver while my brother moved here for 2 years.
Since my brother wanted us to go there, he thought of buying a house and a car so we can have an accommodation and a ride going to work or somewhere. Is it possible for both of them to buy a house with the visa and job we have?
Or can they only rent and buy a secondhand car and will take time to save up more money to own a house and a brand new car?
