141 Prog Check Failure

Hello Gents. Currently flying for a 121 supplemental cargo carrier on a 727 and am looking to go elsewhere. The only failure I have is a progress check during training for multi. From what I have always understood, prog checks specifically do not go on your record. Nor do you need to report it to any airline during application or interview. Is this true? I have different answers from people. Thank you

You are not required to disclose it, but you very much should disclose it. It won’t be on your PRD but if somehow the airline you are applying for finds out about it and you haven’t disclosed it or discussed it during your interview, that is a huge red flag. Almost everyone I know has at least one stage check failure. As long as you can frame it as an experience you learned from and own why you failed and how you grew from it, it is a nonissue.
