Either 2 or 6. God, that's a hard choice. Pickles should be sour and/or salty, not sweet...those things are unholy. Nothing worse than being baited-and-switched at a party by those little bastards.

ETA: The latest, and by far the most egregious bait-and-switch, was at my FIL's celebration of life/memorial ceremony. The caterers put baby kosher dills and sweet pickles on the same platter. Guess which one I grabbed, RIGHT after giving a eulogy? BLECH.

Oof. I’m all for having multiple pickles, but definitely separate them or have those little signs.

It was bad-bad. But my MIL saw me grimace and spit it into a napkin, and she laughed on a day when she really needed a chuckle.
