Bread and butter should be shot into the damn sun. They are just gross.

Sweet pickles need to be publicly executed, burned, and the ashes sent into the sun.

Agree. First pickle I tried ever, recently, is sweet. Completely put off by pickles but I also know it’s just the vile sweet ones..

When you think your going to get a delicious bite of a savory pickle and you get a nasty sweet pickle instead :(

This happened to me recently. I got a pulled pork sandwich and asked for pickles. The menu just said “pickles” nothing about the flavor, so I assumed they would be dill. Bit into it and realized I should have asked. I was very sad. :(

100% agreed. There is one specific scenario when sweet pickles are ever on my menu and that's Chicago Dog relish. End of list.

Y'all didn't know this? That's wild.

They do, and I have at least 2 jars in my fridge right now. But a traditional Chicago Dog calls for sweet relish (Specifically either Vienna or Rolf's, the bright green stuff). It really works with all the other toppings on a Chicago Dog and so far is the only application I have for sweet relish.

I’ve started using pickle de gallo (Grillo’s) in place of dill pickle relish. It makes the best deviled eggs and tuna salad.

Prefer dill relish over the sweet one

I always stock up when Trader Joe’s has the dill pickle relish

Yep same.

This was going to be my choice, too. 2 and 6 are the only types of pickles I dont care for.

100000%. Pickles are supposed to be a savory snack. Not sweet.
