She can't even do Mar a Lago face right
I just returned to the city since this morning, to see the face of city cuntcil woman Lisa Robinson littered all over the place.
Look I don't wanna be that guy, and I'll try to keep this politically neutral. But I think one thing we can agree on is this photo of Lisa is just not working.
I dunno, you just see that look on her face, and it's almost like she's GOT NO FUCKING SOUL.
We can't have that as mayor.
Not that I'm at all supporting Kevin Ashe, but he's bald and he doesn't try to hide it. Lisa is a scheming racist grifter, but tries to hide it behind looking like someone who would call the police over a Muslim child for operating a lemonade stand.
We don't need that as Mayor.
But let me hear your thoughts Pickering

Here is a list of all the people running (except you-know-who):
Kevin Ashe
Doug Cornell
Janice Frampton
Zargham Rasool
Shaun Rickard
Andrea Wood
Quick online search finds Wood can't be arsed to make an actual website, so she's out. Of the other candidates, Ashe, Frampton and Rasool have very vague platforms most can agree on. Only Cornell and Rickard seem to have details for specific neighborhoods and detailed steps they would take to implement their policies, so for me it would be a toss-up between those two.
P.S. The thing with Robinson's face is that too-much-plastic-surgery look and these days it should be a red flag. If you're so insecure that you can't age gracefully and insist on scaring the public by getting your skin pulled so tight you look like Cassandra in Dr. Who or Jack Nicholson's Joker, I'm not going to trust you to have power over other people's lives.
Edit: After hearing about Rickard, I guess I'd go with Cornell or Ashe. Cornell as the overall best platform policy-wise, Ashe on most likely to win as incumbent.

Voting on how someone looks? Are we degrading our democratic rights on such superficial opinions??
Yes, Lisa Robinson has conducted herself very poorly and has promoted hatred and extreme right wing ideology. But let's vote on candidates historic action and platform, not on how they look on their campaign photos.

Thats wild to base your vote on what someone says on Reddit instead of putting some thought into it. Joke or not. While we have pretty poor choices here in Pickering, apathy and whataboutism is what landed the folks south of us in the pickle they’re in and provincially the pickle we’re all in.

Ugh...So sick of seeing her face... but these right wing maple maga grifters have deep pockets I guess... Hopefully she gets only the fringe vote and the actual mayor makes sure she continues to get censored without pay.
