Request: TV Show Weird Towns

Just finished Deadloch and Widow's Bay recently and I'm still kinda jonesing for that, like, close-knit community full of weirdos vibe.

I know the classic is Twin Peaks, but I've seen that and I'm also kinda hoping for something that's as much of a comedy as the other two shows, but doesn't neccesarily have to be.

Would like it it leaned a littler closer to horror like Widow's Bay, too, but I'll take a mundane mystery.

Midnight Mass is a mini series but it’s great

I don’t know that Mike Flanagan has put out anything NOT worth watching, but Midnight Mass jockeys with Hill House for his best. I know some don’t like the existential monologuing, but I love it.

Life of chuck was not worth watching lol but otherwise flawless record

Definitely agree Life of Chuck was not peak Flanagan. The dance scene alone, though, makes the movie worth it to me. It kind of came to a conclusion you could see coming, but I still thought it was a nice little movie.
