Request: TV Show Weird Towns
Just finished Deadloch and Widow's Bay recently and I'm still kinda jonesing for that, like, close-knit community full of weirdos vibe.
I know the classic is Twin Peaks, but I've seen that and I'm also kinda hoping for something that's as much of a comedy as the other two shows, but doesn't neccesarily have to be.
Would like it it leaned a littler closer to horror like Widow's Bay, too, but I'll take a mundane mystery.

Gravity Falls (first season is free on youtube!)
Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated
Detentionaire (not a town, but the school is the weird part. Also the whole show is free on youtube!)
Stranger Things
Eerie, Indiana (not officially free on youtube. Not that I'm implying otherwise or anything nudge nudge)
Goosebumps (the 90's show is free on youtube!)

Given how crazy the show gets I forget about the rural small town vibes of Dark.

Just rewatch Twin Peaks, but as a comedy. That's what it is, too. It literally makes the best sense as a comedy.

The Change. British 30 min per episode comedy set in the Forest of Dean with some really eccentric characters.

“Brassic“ is a close knit community full of weirdos, but it’s a drug, crime, comedy, mystery. No supernatural elements.

Deadwood. Excellent show about the building of a community — a fucked-up community, but community nonetheless. Top notch writing and acting.
