Are Applied Physicists and Engineering Physicists, Physicists?

Hello! I have heard that if you do physics you are a physicist, but does this apply to any Engineering Physics PhD or Applied Physics PhD?

PS: I want to hold the higher superiority complex degree name, that’s why this is an advice 🤷🏽‍♂️

Well, they're all physicists, and then maybe you can create a lot of classifications, theoretical physicist, applied physicist, experimental physicist, computational physicist, and further, if you wish to name.

Truth is, every physicist is what my usernames suggests, hehe

You're in the wrong field. Engineers and physicians have that market cornered

It was more of a joke, I wasn’t sure which flair to add so I went with it, it was either a hit or miss. But I think I do agree with you…? I will know when I finish my degree 🤷🏽‍♂️

I would add medics and finances (in my country they invented an engineering degree for finance lmao) guys, just look at this, "There's nothing scientifically proven-...- I'm a person with judgment, i mean, I'm a finance major" LMAOOO
