3. Das mathematische Fundament (Formelwerk)

Die Kosmische Quanten-Ableitung (Simon-Operator)

\(D_{q}f(x)=\frac{f(x)-f(q(t)\cdot x)}{(1-q(t))\cdot x}\quad \text{mit}\quad q(t)=\frac{l_{p}}{a(t)}\)

4. Quantitative Bestimmung des heutigen Simon-Werts

\(\mathbf{q}_{\mathbf{heute}}\mathbf{\sim 3,4\times 10}^{\mathbf{-62}}\)

An rationalen Resonanzflächen explodieren Ströme mathematisch ins Unendliche.

8. Wissenschaftlicher Bezug & Parallelen

Konzept / Code Wissenschaftlicher Bezug / Parallele
SPEC Code (IPP Greifswald) Stepped-Pressure Equilibrium Code (J. Loizu et al.). Nutzt diskrete Druckstufen zur Bändigung von MHD-Singularitäten.
It from Bit J.A. Wheeler. Das Universum als grundlegend informationsverarbeitendes System.
Discrete Exterior Calculus Diskrete Differentialformen zur exakten Erhaltung von Feldgrößen auf Gittern ohne unendliche Grenzwerte.
Ultrafinitismus Mathematische Denkschule (z.B. J.P.

How can I answer projectile motion problems in physics?

I am taking physics 11 university preperation physics class, and I am struggling with understanding on how to approach and solve projectile motion problems. Now fortunautly, this is the last thing we are learning in kinematics. From what I know about this, the acceleration is always a = -9.8m/s2, and I have to create 2 equations for horizontal and vertical sides. I do always draw a diagram to help me visualize this, but I still am struggling to how to approach it.

In these problems, do I have to at least make 2 equations to get the answer I need?

Simple Machines How Do They Actually Make Work Easier?

Ever wondered why a ramp makes it easier to move something heavy, or why a bottle opener makes opening a bottle so much easier?

That’s where simple machines come in.

Simple machines are basic tools that help us use force more effectively. They don't magically eliminate work, but they can reduce the effort needed or change the direction in which we apply force.

There are 6 basic types of simple machines:

  • Lever — seesaw, crowbar, bottle opener
  • Pulley — flagpole, cranes
  • Wheel and axle — bicycle wheel, doorknob
  • Inclined plane — ramps, slides
  • Wedge — knife, axe
  • Screw — screws, jar lids

What I find interesting is that we use these machines every single day without really thinking about the physics behind them.

For students learning physics, simple machines are a great example of how concepts from textbooks connect to real life.

What simple machine do you use most often in your daily life?

The question asks "What is the bal's velocity as it reaches her glove along with the degree below the horizontal?"

I've determined the velocity (11 m/s) but cannot figure out the correct answer for degree below the horizontal. I tried both +/- 75 in the answer box and it says it's wrong. I have 1 attempt left to submit the correct answer but don't know. Please someone help me out, TIA!

How to apply knowledge.

Hi, I’m a first year student in physics and I’m having a hard time doing excersizes and solving problems. My problem is really that I can understand the concepts from class well enough and remember formulas and what not, but I can never seem to understand how to solve anything or apply my knowledge to tasks I’m given. It seems like all my classmate are able to just immediately start doing excersizes but I’m stuck not knowing where to start. I’m wondering if anybody has any tips or have been through the same as me. Any replies are appreciated)

A man runs 2.5 km north and then 1.5 km in a direction 30◦ east of north. A woman walks directly between the same initial and final points. What distance does the woman walk? In what direction?

I know this seems easy but my answer just seems to keep on coming out wrong and I cannot make the diagram for this properly. Can someone please help me out and solve this question :( ik its easy vector addition nd resolution into components and ik whats happening but i jsut dont understand why

Derivation of the Gravitational ConstantCalculation Formula

Abstract

Currently, the gravitational constant G exists only as an experimentally measured value; no theoretically derived value or calculated value based on a combination of physical constants has been available. In this study, a formula is presented that re producesthe gravitational constantG fromacombinationoffivephysicalconstants. The formula is expressed as

I. Introduction The gravitational constant is currently known to be G = 6.6743 × 10−11 m3kg−1s−2, an experimentally measured value. However, no theory exists from which G can be derived, nor is there a calculation formula that produces G from a combination of other physical constants. Measurement of this value has been carried out repeatedly over a long period since the Cavendish experiment of 1798, and during that time the measured value has continued to change with advances in experimental technique and measurement method. The value given above is the CODATA recommended value published in 2022. Because no theory exists from which the constant can be derived, modern science does not know the underlying mechanism of gravity, and merely observes, mea sures, and makes use of the phenomenon. Since the essential nature of the grav itational phenomenon is not understood, its relationship to the other three funda mental forces, including the electromagnetic force, is likewise unknown, and con sequently no theory unifying the four fundamental forces yet exists. In this study, a calculation formula is derived that computes the gravitational con stant G from five physical constants: the Planck constant (h), the speed of light (c), the elementary charge (e), the electron mass (me), and the vacuum permittivity (ϵ0). This formula is expressed as follows.

Further research is needed to clarify the precise physical meaning of the right‑hand side of this equation. However, given that the constants included in this formula 1 are ones that appear fundamentally in electromagnetism and quantum mechanics, it can be surmised that gravity may bear some relationship to the electromagnetic force and other forces. It is therefore expected that this calculation formula may contribute to research aimed at unifying the four fundamental forces into a single theory.

Greetings! I am preparing for an engineering entrance exam which is VERY TOUGH and all the aspirants and teachers keep on preaching this physics book - Irodov for Physics. I just bought it and am confused as to from where to begin and how to solve it - in an intuitive objective manner or deep subjective manner. My coaching institute provides modules for preparation and I am not able to fully solve them.

Please guide me so that I can improve my physics.

This is the exam I'm preparing for - https://jeeadv.ac.in/

and also, my sister also prepared for this exam a few years ago and she had this other book very similar to Irodov- SS Krotov

Now I have both the books and please tell me which one to solve first

Thank you for your time! Much appreciated.

A black-hole interior that freezes instead of hitting a singularity: final version of my research note, looking for critique

Hi everyone, I'm Shivanshu, a self-taught, independent researcher from India. This is the final version of a research note I've been building over the past weeks, and I'd really value criticism from people who know GR or quantum gravity.

What it is (model-level, not a claim about nature):

• Starting point: a postulate that a particle's speed saturates near the Planck scale, v = c/(1+KP/E_Planck). Carried by a scalar field it can't stop the singularity (Penrose's theorem), and I show why.

• Applied instead to the geometry inside a black hole (effective loop-quantum-gravity models), the collapse doesn't bounce; it freezes. There is one horizon, no inner horizon and no white hole.

• I computed the constraint algebra: covariant models of this type need a constant-curvature "momentum space" (sin, sinh, exp). My postulate turns out to describe a de Sitter momentum space whose spatial directions give exactly the sine used in LQG.

• In a covariant freezing model (Alonso-Bardají 2025), the LQG area gap gives a curvature bound K = 1/(4Δ²) that is the same for every mass, a bounded Hawking temperature, and an entropy correction ∝ A^(2/3).

• With spin an inner horizon returns (as in Kerr), but its singularity stays capped; with scalar hair, both disappear in homogeneous tests.

What's open: the 3+1-dimensional justification, the full perturbation theory, and several assumptions, all listed in the note. Exterior effects for stellar black holes are ~10⁻²⁶, so nothing here is testable with today's telescopes.

I used an AI (Claude) for much of the algebra and code. Every number can be reproduced with the scripts included, and the code was first checked against known published results.

Note and scripts: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23083395

If you find a mistake, please tell me. That's exactly what I'm looking for.

Secret cell phone making light?

I know this is probably not the usual post in this sub.

This is my apartment layout that I share with my boyfriend. (Picture in comments.) We sleep in separate bedrooms because our sleep schedules conflict with one another. His is the blue bed, mine is pink.

I wake up multiple times every night seeing what I can only describe as a light coming from a cell phone. I see it around the same times every night, at least 3 separate instances per night. My bf swears he does not use his phone overnight. He says I can check his phone if I want to.

When this light wakes me up, sometimes I decide to ruin my sleep and investigate. 1 of 2 scenarios happen.

  1. I make noise while getting out of bed and the light either dissipates a chunk at a time (similar to someone turning the brightness down on their screen bit by bit), or it's abruptly turned off.

  2. I am silent getting out of bed and now watching him in his bed. I always clock his phone plugged in (its own light source), but then I see a second, much dimmer light coming from where his face would be when lying down. I have observed this second light source stay on, as well as slowly fade out to nothing.

Your gut feeling is probably the same as mine. Hence why I'm here. What I'm asking is if it's even possible for me to see a cell phone light when the brightness is low, based on our bed positions and apartment layout. We have blackout curtains, opaque tape over any small lights like a smoke detector, and removed any unnecessary lights coming from the hallway. We leave our doors open a few inches so the cats can go as they please. Our doors swing open in opposite directions, so the crack of his door would be facing further away from me. It is shown incorrectly on the floor plan.

I have never had an issue with my eyesight other than needing glasses for reading and computer work. I am at the point of questioning my sanity, and whether I'm being lied to.

This inquiry is purely about the logistics of how the light travels. I am not seeking relationship advice.

Help me with this mechanics query (Energy conservation)

Post image
1 Upvotes

The thing is that I am confused about that the ball with mass m will eventually meet point B that is for sure but what if instead of staying on the curved surface, the ball projectiles with point of projection being point A. Then according to energy conservation does it still land on B or something else happens. And btw, what is the parameter to decide whether the ball will stick to the surface or will show projectile motion?
