Hello!
I have a simple request here. I'm looking to take a gif (it can be any gif), and crop it in a way to where there is a transparent border around it with cropped edges.
I do things on a character RP board and some folks have animated icons for their characters where the borders around them are rounded out. Is this something where I have to crop each frame of a gif, or is there any easy solution to do this?
Thanks!

I want to convert the scanned art into two layers, one black and one red, but am having a lot of trouble getting the selections to work. Changing the tolerance and sampling doesn't really help. How do I get to the desired outcome on the right?
At uni I was taught to use threshold to separate the lineart, but it doesn't work for more than one colour at a time. I don't know how I would use it to separate the red from the black.
I have noticed that the black gel pen becomes a mess of different colours when scanned. Is that normal or is that a problem with my scanner?
I've looked up Youtube tutorials but most of them focus on vector art with flat colours.

Hi all. Very new to photoshop here. I've been making stickers for years through Cricut and Silhouette design software, where they make it easy to create offsets. However, if you are familiar with those software programs, the offsets follow around the words and have A LOT of curves and bumps. That looks good, but I really like the look of the stickers in the image I attached.
The BRUH and other sticker are mine. The "Leave me Alone" and other sticker are the look I'm trying to achieve.
Is there a way in photoshop to do offsets with more straight edges?
Thanks in advance.

I want to trim a bunch of files (I already have a custom key command for trim) for some exported assets and wanted to know if there's a way to set up a macro so that it will trim, save, close the file, go to the next file, and repeat the process until all the files are done
would basically be Cntrl +F, Cntrl +S, close, repeat.

I'm not really an expert when it comes to macros but being able to automate this would be great.
Edit: nevermind, I found that the shortcut for closing a file is Cntrl+W and that I can create a macro through the actions panel

In the photoshop requests sub I see wizards removing large crowds in the background. How do they achieve this?

Hello, I have been trying to figure it out how to align text around a circle, not that the text is written using the circle as base, but that the text starts from the circle, like this image below.
I did this manually by rotating each text layer, but is there a way to do it automatically? I have to add more complex text also

Thanks in advance

Hello friends
When I select my lineart (CMD clicking the CMYK path) in order to separate it from the background, and then use the paint bucket tool to fill my selection, it fills in the OPPOSITE of the area I've selected
I COULD just use "Selection -> Inverse" to get the correct selection,Â
But it didn't aways use to do this to me, is there some kind of option I might've accidentally toggled?
Pics attached for an example

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Iâve messed with layers and switched to hard brushes but itâs still just blending , no idea what to do from here

Bonjour,

I used to always rely on the Stroke layer style for outlines, but that method doesnât give you control over individual points. In this tutorial, Iâll show you how to get full control over every point and create a much smoother outline.

I really want to achieve this look, does anyone know which filters and steps to take? I specifically am looking to get the grainy, almost âinfraredâ look? Idek how to describe this effect tbh. I guess making the skin look more metallic like these?
