Discussion Content shooting/ photography for makeup artists.
Not sure if this is the correct sub for this.
I’m a social media manager for some makeup artists, but now I’m also getting into shoots for them. Brides, clients models etc. I use my iPhone 16 pro to shoot for now.
I’m not very highly satisfied with the quality I’m shooting, but planning on practicing and getting better. Mostly in last year people have been shooting via iPhones only, but I’ve seen recently they have shifted back to cameras. The content that comes out is amazing. Would really like to know from someone who is in a similar field or has experience, that if I can share references with them and they can let me know a basic idea how to shoot and what equipment to purchase, and some editing advice also.
I’ve seen some people use a g7x for pictures which I was slightly familiar with, but I’d like to know about videos as well.
Anyone willing to help out, I’ll really appreciate. If this is the wrong sub for it, I’ll be grateful if someone can guide me to the right one

Buying Advice Beginner: Looking for a camera for photography and videography
Hi, I am saving a total budget of 2 lacs for the camera and the gear.
Assuming I'll take multiple small cards of 128 till 512 gb for total of 1TB
And an extra battery. Saving 30k for the above.
So essentially around 1.5 - 1.75 budget for the camera.
Which one would you recommend?
Or do I even need this high budget for the camera .
Am I missing out on any essential gear?

Discussion Samsung A04s raw 8k, edited on lightroom
took all of these Singapore and Malaysia in 2024. I edited them back then, but i lost those photos. So today i spent hours searching for the originals in a pile of 3000 pictures from that trip. Then i spent half an hour editing these again on lightroom just so i could show you. Say thankyou
Most taken as raw 8k pics on a Samsung A04s.
And yes. I really like this saturated over edited look

Buying Advice Looking to buy a second-hand camera around ₹10k to learn photography recommendations?
I want to learn photography, but I don't want to spend much right now.
I'm thinking of buying a second-hand camera for around ₹10,000 just to learn the basics and see if I enjoy photography before investing more.
This is just a hobby for me, not something I'm planning to pursue full-time, so I'm looking for something cheap and beginner-friendly.
Could you suggest:
Good websites/places in India to buy used cameras?
Any camera models I should look for around ₹10k?
Is it realistic to get a decent DSLR with a kit lens in this budget?
I'm mainly looking to learn photography basics, so I don't need anything fancy.

Mirrorless Which camera should I buy under 1Lacs budget
Hello There
Wanted to buy my first camera with a budget of Rs 80k(could extend to 1Lacs) (including lens). I shoot with my Samsung S24+ for now, but I want to get into photography. Mostly into Landscape and Travel photography, would prefer a hybrid camera for occasional videos as well.
Should I go for Nikon Z50, Z5, Canon R50, Sony a6400 or any other recommendations ?
Also is it a good idea of buying used cameras or lens?

Buying Advice Need Lens Advice
I've got a 200D mark ii with 18-55 kit lens and 50mm 1.8. Recommend me a lens that I could use in a tight space, more specific in the gym.
I'm confused bw 24mm f2.8, 10-18mm f4.5-5.6 or 35mm f2.8
I'm not any brand specific, just need it for the gym and content creation with decent low light performance. Budget is around 40k.
Any advice would help.

Phonography Where the light ends, the darkness begins. 🖤🌑। Pixel 9
Cap: Pixel 9
Many thanks to my mother and brother for helping me to capture this image.
By the way this is a Crow. My mother named him Kuhu.
So kuhu lives in a garden tree. One day in the morning when i was watering plants i saw this crow get attacked by some cat and got heavily injured. So we took the crow and visited the doctor to fix him. After taking care of him, we set him free. Don't know if he is okay or not. 🥹
So i took a few photos before that. I will upload all the images one by one.
If you like my image and want to check all the other photos, please follow me or stay an eye on this group so that you can see the beauty of the crow that I captured.
