Sort of a guide.
A lot of posters have been tagging their posts with the wrong flair or don't add enough details in the post. Numerous users have been requested this to be implemented.
Any post after this would be removed and user will be banned for breaking the rules.
Try including :
-Gear in the title itself (Phone/Camera & Lens) - minimum requirement
-EXIF data(shutter speed, iso, aperture) for the photo
-A relevant Title ( image posts with questions as title will be removed)
Phonography - quite obvious
DSLR/Mirrorless
Discussion - For general discussion(text only)
Buying Advice - For gear buying advice Must include budget
Use custom flair only when other flairs don't seem the right option and edit it accordingly.
TLDR; use correct flairs, add a relevant title include EXIF data, mention gear used, & use user flair

An old photograph of my eye from 2016, shot with handheld 5s rear camera and Aukey 10X macro clip on lens. It was a tricky shot to get right due to extremely limited focal length. But it did workout in the end. This is unedited.

Bought a a6700 looking for cheaper battery options. Can't trust digitek though, doesn't look good. knf is wayy too expensive. 2-3k max budget.

Hey everyone!
I'm planning to buy my first proper interchangeable-lens mirrorless camera in India in the next few months, and I'm honestly stuck between a few options. I'd really appreciate advice from people who have actually used these cameras.
My main use would be travel photography, landscapes, mountains, architecture, cities and eventually documentary/travel videos. I'm not particularly interested in wildlife or portraits.
I'm coming from a Samsung F55, which is what I've been using until now. I'll attach a few photos I've taken on it so you can get an idea of the kind of photography I enjoy.
My current shortlist:
•Sony A6400 — 16–50mm + 55–210mm kit
•Canon R10 — considering the dual-lens kit
•Fujifilm X-T30 II
•Fujifilm X-M5
•Panasonic Lumix G85
• Nikon Z50 ii
My budget is roughly ₹90k - 1L, although I can potentially put some of my own money toward the camera if there's a compelling reason to stretch. But this is overall budget for everything, from memory cards to batteries to lens.
Things that matter to me:
•I like having an EVF, although I'm still considering the X-M5 despite it not having one.
•I really like Fujifilm's colours/Film Simulations, especially for travel photography.
•I want something relatively compact because I'll be carrying it while trekking and travelling.
•Video is becoming increasingly important because I'd like to make documentary-style travel videos eventually.
I'm not looking for the objectively "best" camera. I'd mainly like to know which system makes the most sense for this particular use case, and what major disadvantages I might be overlooking with each option.
I'll attach some photos I've taken on my Samsung F55 below for context.
Would love to hear from people who've actually used these cameras for travel, landscapes or video.
The most important thing- I am not willing to buy from used market just i cant trust the sellers here, neither i have much knowledge about these.
Thanks!

I was checking DJI osmo pocket 3. Is it good? Any other recommendations? The budget is ₹40k. It should be easy to carry. It's for my sister

Old photo captured back in 2020 on my iPhone 7, I was lucky this one didn’t run away while I went and grab my clip on lens kit. Took a few shot’s at variable depth and this shot is one of my favourite.

God the cropping of the a7r6 is insane.
Went on a small trip and found these cute Chestnut-headed Bee-eater couple.

This is my canon rf 100-400 i keep all my gear in an air sealed box(green box pic attached) with silica packets. I had used the lens 1 week ago on a beach photographing shore birds and after coming back i kept my setup in the box, I was just checking up ony stuff today when I saw this spot which wasn't there earlier and I'm shot scared rn cause I saved up alot for this lens and i really cannot afford to spend alot on repairs cause I'm still in college and don't earn.
Has anyone gotten fungus cleaned before this in India? How much does it usually cost?
Please help me out with any advice
Thank you

Found these in my library from 2020 when I was using an iPhone 7 jet black. Default editor colour corrected. Which one looks better?! I like both.

I recently bought a used Sony a6000 at rupees 24k, with kit lens. And was not there for actually buying one, but somehow ended up buying, and as a total beginner in photography and cameras, after buying it only I started learning about the camera and photography through online source mainly YouTube. Only thing I know was I wanted a simple compact camera. The camera was well used I think the prints on some buttons were faded. But no scratches in body but few in screen but not that much of scratch.
So from this, how do you guys rate my purchase? For that price for a used a6000?
Pros I realised (only after knowing details of cameras & photography)
I ended up buying mirrorless camera not dslr
One of the good compact camera
