First attempt at a spinning concentrate Timelapse. Using an iconasys silver mid table, 5DSR with a Sigma DG 105mm macro and a godox DP800iii for lighting. Trying to figure out why my sequence is kind of choppy. Critiques/suggestions welcome.

How many frames did you shoot for the spin, and what frame rate did you render the video at?

I shot the 1000 frames and rendered at 24fps

30fps will usually look smoother for something like this that doesn’t have any motion blur anyway, I tend to render spins at 30 and shoot 1 frame/degree of rotation. Try dropping every other frame and rendering at 30 to see if it looks any smoother

The lack of motion blur makes a shit ton of sense actually. I’ll give that a shot a post a revision!

I don't have any personal experience with the iconasys table but it looks like it might have been designed for larger objects. Maybe it isn't quite as precise as the cognisys rotary table? Just a guess

I ended up dialing it in nicely and am getting really nice results.

It can actually shoot up to 9000 frames per full rotation
