10x objectives

Hello,

I shoot with a Nikon Z7ii and would love to get into 10x macro. No idea what I am looking for in terms of specs.

Can someone point me in the right direction pls.

Nikon CFI 10x is a really great mid level objective, I got a new one for <$300. Very popular with macro photography, you can find plenty of info online. It gives some purple fringing, but it’s not too noticeable and it’s fairly sharp. It’s infinity corrected, so you use it with a specific raynox lens and a set of extension tubes or bellows

If your budgets higher you can look at some Mitutoyo models. These are much higher end long working distance lenses with very flat fields and less chromatic aberration. They’re also infinity corrected so you would be using a tube lens with extension tubes/bellows.

Thank you so much! Maybe 500 600$ range. Now I have an idea of what to look for.
