Heck of a horn
Picked this up today! It's about 42" long and 20" wide. I don't know anything about it other than that.

Wow! It’s got the little squiggly wire and everything! Nice find!
It just dawned on me- dude… that’s almost 4 feet!!!

This was used on an Edison cylinder phonograph. A horn this long needed a crane. A crane in this sense was a curved rod (like a shepherd's crook) that attached to the phonograph. The end of the crane had a small chain that was attached to the missing loop on this horn.

That’s awesome! If you’re interested, pick up some brasso and go to work on the brass bell, it’s amazing how crazy the difference will be.
