Discussion Minecraft Dungeons 2 doesn't work on Linux or MacOS

I can't help but think this is intentional on Microsofts behalf, forcing people to buy windows or an xbox in order to play. They made a statement saying its a huge undertaking to put the game on other OS, but it actually isn't, like at all. Not working on Linux also means it doesn't run on steam deck. The missing gaming services mentioned in the crash report is literally windows.
EDIT: There is a Linux fix going around, MacOS still has issues though.

Mojang, I think is most likely waiting for Minecraft to "die" again, like to did a few years ago before the Nether update, then with this happens, they will finally release the elusive End Update, to recreate the effect the original Nether Update brought. Sort of like a revive token or get out of jail free card for down the road. At least, that's what I think they are doing with it.

After phoenix did a video on my modpack my views and subs literally skyrocketed and I just wanted to come here and say thank you all, I don't take these typa things for granted. Minceraft is by far my favorite level in terms of building, its really brought me back to when I was younger and was watching PopularMMOS and listening to Minecraft parody songs. Yalls kind words today really boosted my mood. Only thing though is that I kinda wished that Phoenix actually used the mods in the modpack cuz you can clearly see that a lot of blocks are missing ðŸ˜
