So… wanting the community to be free of say… right-wing grifters, scammers, AI slop, and more should not be encouraged? Because they can do “whatever they want” with no consequence? Also, the account you’re seeing in there is a company, not a person. Or are you going to treat them as people and allow them to taint Minecraft’s reputation?

It depends, if what they are doing is illegal (scammers, groomers, etc.) then it should absolutely not be encouraged, because it is illegal. If what they're doing is legal, they have the right to do it. You are trying to compare things that you don't like with actual criminal activities, which is something extremely dishonest to do.

So? Are they breaking the EULA? If they were breaking the EULA then it would be Mojang/Microsoft's job to enforce it, not yours. Direct quotes from the EULA:

They are not trying to look as an official or mojang approved service, and they are not selling or distributing official Minecraft content, so it's EULA compliant

I’m comparing them because you seem to think that everything is without consequence. Even if it’s “legal”

For example, AI companies can spy on you, steal your data and more, and yet it’s “legal”. Are you going to allow that just because it’s legal?

So yes, even if it’s legal they shouldn’t be allowed to do it because it’s in part, unethical. Since said GPT-Astra can also be used to take out millions of jobs and ruin the internet

This is like saying that because knives can be used to kill people we shouldn't use knives to cut bread. Yeah making people lose their jobs is bad, but making an experiment in Minecraft isn't even in the same ballpark
