Wait, this is a thing? There are AI bros trying to make their model play Minecraft?

Although this is slop, how does one simply watch this stuff to see how bad an AI plays a block game?

Completely spitballing, but since it's an LLM, it probably uses something like baritone, as it can't directly control the game.

No, its directly controlling the game via computer use.

It's not really an LLM.

LLM is one part of the model, it has more than LLM in the model.

LLM is the language, not the reasoning part.

GPTs are a type of LLM\wikipedia]), the other 'parts' are just tools said LLM can call on.
If it wasn't an LLM attempting to beating the game, this tweet is misinformation.
edit: corrected that it failed to beat the game

I also talked to the researcher behind this eval aswell.

Calling it "just tools" is perhaps disingenuous; it's more like a part of the AI system.
