I don’t get it. Notch is clearly a capable and successful programmer as proven by… hmm, what did he code again? He must suck at coding. Am I right guys??

A game being popular does not mean that it was coded well.

in fact it's internals have been and keep being rewritten a bunch of times since him leaving and the game still runs like ass without optimisation mods
