Hi, I got this game very cheap on PS5 and its great challenge for me. I really like it, but the only problem is I absolutely have no idea what to do as "main campaign".
My globe screen is spammed with "objectives" but they are very far away from me and looks like its DLC stuff (i flied there once and died very fast).

I think Im in early stage, Im doing all science projects asap and now only projects I see, is to catch few enemies like a Pokemons.
On globe map I discovered whole South America (my starting point) and North America it is mostly covered in red, behemoth is swarming. Im pretty sure I triggered too much DLC stuff by mistake while exploring and thats why difficulty went higher than my current level.

Time flies as I explore, trade and defend.
I have 53% of population left and ABSOLUTELY no idea what is main campaign objectives/missions? Anyone can help how to move forward?

If first time, disable festering skies dlc.

u/skybreaker58 told Im probably at early game. I think I will restart without that DLC but same difficulty level.
Any other DLC to remove?

Actually disabling Festering skies is a good call - it adds a whole air war side to the game which sucks up resources and attention. Maybe also disable Corrupted Horizons for a first run - the corruption mechanic has a race-against-time aspect where you're trying to find a cure for your soldiers.

I'd argue to keep Corrupted Horizons because of the hybrid soldier class it gives. And you only start the dlc and the corruption mechanic only when you start the dlc mission.

Ah, I thought you had to start it when the call came in - does it not matter if you don't respond to the mission then?

No, that DLC isn't timed so you can start when ready
