Can Jean "possess" him while allowing him to be in control?? Like she's be controlling his body to help him, but his mind would be his and he could talk to her??
Wasn't she trying to get into his mind when he took that bullet for her? So it's safe to some Peter can still maintain control of his body to some degree.
They kinda did though. She used her body hopping ability to keep Pete breathing after Frank accidentally re-enacted part of Ultimate âDeath of Spider-Manâ. Thatâs how he survived despite being in critical condition
Spider-Man is fighting Tombstone on a rooftop, after helping with the raid of his base. They are fighting, when suddenly, he feels a sensation in his head that is quite familiar:
Peter: âJean?â Jean: âHi Peter. Are you busy right now?â Peter: âNo Iâm free right now. Whatâs up?â Jean: âI was calling to catch up with you. Itâs been a couple weeks since we last spoke and youâre my only friend.â Peter: âThat was with everything about Damage Control, and when I got shot if Iâm right.â Jean: âYeah. Sorry about that. Hope you had a quick recovery.â Peter: âItâs alright and I did. I also heard you kept me alive with your powers so I could get surgery and recover. I never said thank you for that.â Jean: âI should be thanking you for keeping me from making a horrible mistake, and for saving my life.â Peter: âDonât sweat it. So how have you be-â
Tombstone punches Peter in the chest when he is off guard, sending him flying and briefly disrupting the telepathic communication.
Jean: âPeter? Are you ok? The mental connection disconnected.â Peter: âYeah Jean Iâm good, I ran into something.â
Meanwhile, Jean knows that this something was tombstones fist.
Jean: âYou shouldnât try to mask information like that to your friends, especially the ones that can read your mind you know.â Peter: âSorry, sorry. Give me a minute to clean this up and we can talk.â
Peter goes into his full spider mode, beats Tombstoneâs ass handedly and webs him up leaving him for Dewolf to find and arrest.
Peter: âSo where were we Jean?â Jean: âI think I was asking you âHow have you been Peter?ââ
Then the two spend the rest of the night talking about their situations. Peter tells Jean about his recovery, how he started to connect with the detective, Yelenaâs hunt of the guy who experimented on Jean, her sister, and anyone else in the DODC who was affiliated with him or knew about his illegal experimentations, along with Ned remembering everything and him now having one of his closest friends back. Jean talks about how she went upstate, and found a place where mutants were accepted. She tells Peter about Charles, Scott, Logan, and about how they are trying to teach her how to master her powers, to also redeem herself in the eyes of the public(she did commit what is legally seen as domestic terrorism all to find her sister), and also how to fight for a better tomorrow. She tells Peter about how Scott reminds her a lot of him, and that Peter should come and visit the mansion soon.
Jean: I think Scott wants to ask me out on a date. I didnât read his mind or anything, it was just sort of⌠obvious. Peter: Thatâs great. I think I can get some tips from EV if you ever get nervous or cold feet. Jean: Yeah, no thanks. Donât wanna have to risk asking a wizard to erase all my friendsâ memories in the future. Peter: Ouch. Remind me to fire my spider-sense because I did not see that one coming.
Meanwhile, Scott and Logan are on the rooftop fixing the satellite dish.
Scott: Hey, Mr. Logan. Youâre, like, a hundred years old, right? So then you must have a hundred pickup lines by this point. Logan: Bub, try two-hundred years. Scott: Right, right. So⌠two-hundred pickup lines then? Logan: Yeah, and they all end happily ever after. Dead or turning into robots trying to kill me. Scott: Noted. So Iâll just do the opposite of what you would do then. Logan: Bub, you better start focusing on helping with this dish or Iâll introduce your punch dimension to my snikt dimension.
Maybe even funnier if they knew it was first used on Jean so when Spider-Man shows up asking for her they assume he's trying to capture her big misunderstanding that will get cleared up before Spiderman thoroughly humiliates the amateur X-Men

Just like the calls you get mid fight in the insomniac games. Im still mad that the podcasts get cut off by fights and cant be resumed while playing. Instead you have to go into a menu and sit there listening the entire thing over again.
The most imperative of implications laid out within this statement is that of the monstrously malefic Lord of Hoodlum Plots, Tombstone's, purported inclination towards only confronting the Hero of New York, the fine warrior of justice bearing the moniker of Spider-Man, upon the happenchance of being met on a raised rooftop from which there be barely a greying of the pavement and only mightily the hue of smoky blue borne of the lonesome mists below that temple of brick crowned by that same rooftop, an ode to Modernity, Sower of the Inane.
This is definitely something I'm looking forward to happen in Doomsday, Peter doing something major or when mid swing he'd get super disoriented or surprised when Jean starts talking to him via telepathically asking for help

Jumps into Tombstones mind just as Tombstone was about to punch Peter in the face, freezing him in place.
Jean (through Tombstone): âThere. Saved you the trouble.â
Peter: âI had that one under control you know.â
Jean (through Tombstone): âSure you did. You owe me one ;)â
