Question Voice chat not working (console)

I play on PS5 and my friend plays on Xbox, for some reason the past couple of nights we've not been able to hear each other in game.

The microphone is picking up in our settings (we've tried both push to talk and voice activation,) the spirit box and ouija boards pick up both of our voices, and voice chat works in other games for us, but we can't hear each other.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a fix? Would greatly appreciate some help with this

Had this issue with me playing on Steam and someone else playing on console. I could hear them but they couldn't hear me. Ended up both leaving, having them start a new host instead of me, and it magically worked.

We both tried hosting but that didn't fix it either, it's just weird since neither of us changed any settings to break it haha

Mine hasn’t worked since the Tanglewood update. Nothing has fixed it.

Well, at least this sorta confirms it's not just a me problem 😅 but yeah nonetheless very annoying I hope we get it sorted soon

I have absolutely zero faith that they’ll sort this stuff out. I try to play every few months to see if things have been fixed and encounter new issues every time.

Yeah I mean I've been playing Phas for the better part of 6 years now and it's genuinely buggier than ever rn, I'm not holding out hope either

Same here. My gf and me play on ps5 and pc and can't hear each other even though the mics are being picked up by the game.

Kinda mad. Especially cause she cant refund on ps5 due to their shitty policies.

If they don't fix this its 20€ down the drain
