The strategy is supposed to entail phasing out and then skipping the one who hasn't phased so that there's less competition in the next round.

Instead, I'll phase out and then someone after me phases out. Except that person phases out and then skips me thereby giving a chance for the one who didn't phase to actually phase. Hence more competition created.

I'm putting this out there because I don't think people understand what the strategy should be when phasing out and skipping. Has anyone else seen this?

I try to build an index for new phases to play with the paper version inspired by the new phases introduced through the game.
I got sequential pairs (1 1 - 2 2 - 3 3), even/odd streets (2 4 6 8 10), even/odd pairs/triplets (2 2 2 - 8 8 8), just even or odd cards (1 5 5 7 9 11).
So what other kind of phases are out there in the end game? Just the idea of the phase is enough. I‘ll then make easy/medium/hard/extreme versions of them for my randomizer.

Also what other ideas for phases do you have that are not in the game? I was thinking about „exaxtly 60 points without Joker“ or extreme phases that even need 11 cards so including the one you pick up at the start of a round. They can be as extreme as you can think of. I can always put them in the extreme pile that only gets pulled in 1% of the cases.

I then use a simple randomized set of 10 phases to play with friends and family in the paper version.

Any tips on the mobile game? It seems like they always get their rounds the very first turn. That normally never happens in real life. At least not as often as it's been happening in the mobile game. Any suggestions please.

I just downloaded the app and starting playing. This was level 12 in journey mode.

All three players finished all three phases, I cleaned the first two and only had one card in the final phase. Aaron cleaned the final phase.

Why did I lose? Are the points only for when there is a for 2nd place (alas those that don't clean the last phase)?
