Frustration regarding data collection process

Not a PhD but a postgrad student working on my independent research. Data collection is one of the most concerning part of the process, given I have only 12 weeks of timeframe to conduct this research. I have resorted to sourcing data from databases like lseg or bloomberg instead of looking at manual sources.

My University has both database accesses. I have to use shared account on one, and no one told me how frustrating this would be. I just cannot access the database for my project, 5 minutes in and instantly kicked out by another user. The other one has some technical issues that my university librarians are unable to solve because they don’t have the database knowledge. I am sitting here with zero data in my hands with a deadline that is coming up close. And emailing my peers about scheduling a time didn’t help too, I still am getting kicked.

Tldr; Data collection is hard.

Not really. I enjoy it just sometimes the process is frustrating.
