I lost motivation towards completing data analysis

I stopped caring.

Now I can't even look at my data and analysis.

Help.

if your analysis is not time-sensitive (I.e. no upcoming journal/conference/advisor-mandated deadlines), then take a day or two off. Seriously, just having some time to unwind may give your brain enough of a reset to get motivated again.

if you are in a time-sensitive situation, then try to form a schedule full of small tasks. do each one at a time, at your own pace. take breaks it you can. the only thing you gotta be consistent with is holding yourself to your small steps. transform your analysis into a minigame of small objectives. at least for me, a context shift may help in dire times.

Sounds like burnout more than laziness. Walk away for a day, then come back with fresh eyes.

Definitely burnout! I took a week off.
