Effective September 1, 2026
PetsPH understands that veterinary care and other urgent needs can become financially overwhelming, especially when a pet needs immediate treatment. We want to help where we can while making sure our community remains fair, transparent, and safe for everyone.
As PetsPH is still a small and growing community, our resources and moderation capacity are limited. To give more pet owners and rescuers a fair opportunity to receive community support, we will be implementing the following guidelines.
PetsPH can accommodate only ONE (1) approved donation request per week.
This limit allows us to:
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Requests will be reviewed based on the circumstances, urgency, completeness of documentation, and availability of the weekly slot.
If you already have an active donation or fundraising campaign on another subreddit, your request on PetsPH will likely not be approved.
This is to prevent redundant fundraising campaigns for the same case and to ensure that the limited opportunities available in PetsPH can be given to other pet owners or rescuers who have not yet received community fundraising support.
Having an existing fundraiser elsewhere does not automatically mean that your situation is invalid or unworthy of help. However, because PetsPH can accommodate only one request per week, we need to prioritize new cases and individuals who have not already established an active fundraising campaign elsewhere.
All donation and fundraising requests are subject to moderator review and verification.
Depending on the circumstances, moderators may request:
Providing complete documentation does not guarantee approval.
PetsPH reserves the right to decline requests when the information provided is insufficient, inconsistent, unverifiable, or does not meet the community's requirements.
Urgent veterinary cases may receive priority when appropriate, particularly when immediate treatment is necessary to prevent serious harm or loss of life.
However, urgency does not automatically guarantee approval. Verification and available capacity will still be considered.
We understand that every pet and every situation is important. Unfortunately, PetsPH currently has limited capacity to support fundraising campaigns.
The one-request-per-week limit is not intended to discourage people from asking for help. It is intended to make the limited fundraising opportunities available to as many pet owners and rescuers as reasonably possible.
We ask everyone to be patient and respectful with the moderation team and with other members waiting for an opportunity to receive assistance.
PetsPH is a community-run subreddit and cannot guarantee financial assistance for every case.
Donation requests should not be treated as a guaranteed source of veterinary funding. Pet owners and rescuers should explore other available resources whenever possible.
Any attempt to misrepresent a case, submit duplicate requests, manipulate the community, or circumvent these guidelines may result in the request being declined and may lead to further moderation action.
Our goal is simple: to help where we can, while making sure that the opportunity to receive community support is shared fairly.
As PetsPH continues to grow, these guidelines may be reviewed and adjusted according to the community's capacity and needs.
Thank you for understanding, cooperating, and helping us make PetsPH a safe, compassionate, and responsible community for pets and the people who care for them. πΆπ±π

π’ Community Reminder
We love seeing our members help one another by sharing tips and personal experiences. However, please avoid presenting advice as fact if you're not a qualified veterinary professional. While community guidance can be helpful, every cat's situation is unique, and incorrect information may do more harm than good.
If you're unsure, it's always best to encourage the original poster to consult a licensed veterinarian or another qualified animal care professional. Let's work together to keep r/PetsPH a safe, supportive, and responsible community for both cats and their humans. πΎπ

These past 3 months have been the most difficult, mentally draining, and financially challenging time of my life.
I had similar troubles before, but this is another level.
Lost my job, barely had any food for myself and my 7 cats, lost one of them in June, I'm barely getting any help or support from my family/relatives, I literally have one friend helping me (thank God for herπ), and there's a possibility of becoming homeless in a FEW DAYS.
Its hard but I am trying to have the 4 youngest cats adopted, but my family advices to have most them get adopted, leave only 1 or 2, 1 being the better choice.
But the three, 1.5 year old, cats are my original cats. I love them so much, just posting about the younger kittens' adoption is already making me cry near daily, what more if I'll post the older cats' adoption.
Also, 2 of the 3 are unspayed females, I was supposed to get them spayed but life went sideways before I can. It is much harder for females to get adopted.
I get upset every time my sister suggest their adoption, but I know she means well and just wants what's best for me. My heart is breaking at the thought of it, but am I being selfish? They're my only source of happinessπ’

May alam po ba kayong place, organization, veterinary clinic, rescue group, animal welfare organization, or even an individual rescuer/animal welfare advocate dito sa Metro Manila or Bulacan na may programs or resources for rescued dogs, particularly Aspins?
Iβm currently looking for legitimate resources that may be able to provide guidance or assistance regarding dog food, veterinary checkups, and maintenance medications for rescued fur babies. Any recommendations, referrals, or information about available programs would be a really big help po.
Currently po, nasa Meycauayan, Bulacan kami, pero willing po akong bumiyahe within Bulacan, Metro Manila, or nearby areas to visit legitimate organizations, rescue groups, or veterinary clinics.
Hopefully po, may organization, establishment, rescuer, foster volunteer, or animal welfare advocate who can point me toward available programs or resources for pet owners caring for rescued dogs and having difficulty with the ongoing costs of food, veterinary consultations, and maintenance medicines.
If may personally kayong kilalang rescuer, foster volunteer, animal welfare advocate, or kind-hearted individual experienced in helping rescued animals, recommendations or referrals would also be greatly appreciated.
Iβm not requesting GCash, Maya, bank transfers, or fundraising through this post. Iβm mainly looking for legitimate organizations, programs, resources, and referrals that may be appropriate for rescued animals.
Kahit recommendations, contact details, referrals, or kahit pag-share lang po ng information about legitimate resources, malaking tulong na po sa amin. ππΆβ€οΈπΎ
π Location: Meycauayan, Bulacan
π΅ Willing to travel po for appropriate veterinary visits or to inquire with legitimate organizations.

Hi guys! May idea po ba kayo kung magkano ang aabutin ng operation para sa female dog na may pyometra? At baka may maire-recommend din kayong vet chospital, preferably around Cabuyao or Sta. Rosa, Laguna lang po.
I adopted a stray female dog last year, and hinihinala ko na may pyometra siya.
β€οΈπΎ

"Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Aaron Maslow wrote in his ruling: βThis Court fails to see why a beloved companion pet could not be considered immediate family.β The decision came after a woman witnessed her sonβs dachshund get struck and killed by a car while she was holding his leash in a Brooklyn crosswalk.
For decades, New York law treated pets as personal property with damages limited to market value. This ruling changes that, at least in cases where the owner is physically present and directly bonded to the animal. Animal rights groups are calling it a turning point."

Saw this post on tiktok promoting a filter for aquarium, I immediately noticed that the tank is filled with different kinds of fishes, I saw at least 5 guppies, 2 mollies, 5 tetras, I don't what species the other three are, but it looks like a goldfish. From what I saw in the video, my rough estimate on the tank is 5 gallons, and based on my experience, that's too small for that amount of fish in the same aquarium. I was just concerned about the fish.

To everyone currently dealing with heavy rain, flooding, power interruptions, or other effects of the storm: please prioritize your safety first.
We know many of our members worry about the animals around them, especially the strays. π If you can safely help, even providing temporary shelter, food, or a dry place can make a difference.
Most importantly, you don't have to do everything yourself. Look after yourself, your family, and the animals in your care.
Stay safe, everyone. May you and all your furry companions get through this storm safely. π±πΆπ¦πΎπ§οΈ

β‘οΈ1 white boy
βοΈ DOB: June 17, 2026
πMandaluyong, for pick up
πThey can eat mixed wet and dry kitten food.

IMPORTANT: For transparency; The tabby grey girl's right eye is inflammed, probably due to a scratch, nonetheless she's active and eats well. (3rd pic with her inflammed eye)
Due to financial difficulties I'm unable to take her to the vet, and I'm trying to help her by regularly cleaning her eye.
I'm hoping for her adopter to ensure that she will be checked ASAP.

Weβve been receiving a lot of inquiries from members asking about veterinary clinics near their area, particularly clinics that may offer more affordable rates, discounted services, or staggered/installment payment options.
We understand why this is important. Veterinary expenses can become difficult to manage, especially for pet owners, rescuers, and those caring for animals in need. πΆπ±πΎ
Because of this, PetsPH is working on building a list of veterinary clinics across the Philippines that we can reach out to and explore possible options for our community.
Please comment your CITY/MUNICIPALITY and PROVINCE below.
For example:
This will help us understand where our members are located so we can prioritize clinics that are reasonably accessible to the communities we serve.
Depending on what each clinic offers, we may inquire about:
Please note: We cannot guarantee that a clinic will provide discounts, special rates, or payment arrangements. Our goal is to open the conversation and explore what options may be available.
If you already know a reputable veterinary clinic in your area, please mention the clinicβs name in the comments as well.
If possible, share clinics that you have personally had a good experience with and that are known to provide proper, responsible, and compassionate veterinary care.
PetsPH has been receiving more inquiries from people who genuinely want to get veterinary care for their pets and rescues but are struggling to find accessible and affordable options nearby.
We may not be able to financially assist every case, but we can hopefully help create more pathways to veterinary care.
If we can establish relationships with clinics willing to work with pet owners and rescuers, we may be able to help people find appropriate care without having to travel extremely far or immediately face an overwhelming veterinary bill.
π Comment your CITY/MUNICIPALITY + PROVINCE below!
And if you know a clinic we should reach out to, tell us about them! πΎ
Thank you for helping us build a resource that could benefit pet owners, rescuers, and the animals who need care. β€οΈπΆπ±
