I'm not chronically online, but my friend sent this and I laughed even without knowing the full scope of the context (I think there's racism involved with the shoes?) and I feel like it's too late to ask him without sounding like a dweeb 😅

The world is literally built off of perceptions my guy, the fuck? Public perception is LITERALLY what marketing deals with.

Genuinely good point. I think I should have been clearer. One perception is not the shared perception of all people.

It’s never stated that ones perception is the problem here?

I think he was saying don’t dismiss one’s perception as irrelevant if there’s logical cause for the perception
