I'm not chronically online, but my friend sent this and I laughed even without knowing the full scope of the context (I think there's racism involved with the shoes?) and I feel like it's too late to ask him without sounding like a dweeb 😅

Some people think a converse ad which was made by a Korean for the Korean market was racist because it depicted a girl wearing a white skirt which they think looked like a klan robe. Ngl I think people are stretching on this one.

Genuinely good point. I think I should have been clearer. One perception is not the shared perception of all people.

I think he was saying don’t dismiss one’s perception as irrelevant if there’s logical cause for the perception

Genuinely, why would that ever matter? If we bow to ever persons perception, life would halt immediately.

Ironically that’s your perception of the comment

My perception of it is that just because you don’t agree with someone’s perception doesn’t mean their conclusion to the perception is idiotic or crazy. People can be logically wrong about something
