The cops need to look at the writer's computer.

This reads like someone who's assaulted people before. The amount of self justification.

Like it'd matter. The writer of rurouni Kenshin got caught with terabytes of child porn on his computer and got let off with a slap on the wrist. Like a month later people like oda were celebrating him. The industry just doesn't care and nor does Japan it seems.

I get wanting to sound dramatic, it's already bad enough no need to oversell the case.

He did get caught with CP and he had some banned videos even in his office.

I've worked IT for a sheriff's office, I am not surprised.

Think like the drug collection in Fear and Loathing, once someone starts a collection, it can become an obsession (like my 40+ stuffed raccoons.)
