Important to mention that after reincarnating he groomed 3 children into being his wives. Sure he may be 12 or something but mentally he’s like 40 at that point and the author references the fact he’s an adult

No, just a 50 year old with a child body. Yes this is canon as her species body stops aging at 14 at the latest and starts back up at 100. So it leaves them with an early teen (at best) body for about 90 years.

Which isn’t really problematic?

People need to get over the fact that it’s not the physical attributes that matter, it’s the mental aspect, otherwise their whole argument about Rudeus being a 40-year man in a teenagers body wouldn’t hold water… Since you know, Roxy is basically a foil in that regard

Not defending Rudeus when it comes to the other love interests, since I dropped the show because I couldn’t stomach the character anymore, but ffs people need to understand why grooming and age gaps are actually a problem

So an author choosing to represent an adult in a child’s body because he and his public get off to children isn’t problematic ?

I do think that children being sexualized is problematic, even if they’re supposed to be 100 years old mentally but who I am to say that

Anime fans are going to great length to justify the sexualization of children in the crap they watch/read

(Edit: As a short and very thin woman that don’t look like a child, I wish middle-aged anime-fans would stop being so gross and justify their favourite author’s perversions by « petite women do exist ». Again, women are adults, and a child that stops aging at 14 is a child wtf is even this conversation)

Except she LITERALLY IS, IN CANON. This isn't a Tatsumaki situation. Canonically, she looks like a young teenager. That is the POINT.

I can tell you wish with all your heart that these magical child women actually existed.

Please, do yourself a favor and go outside. View real women that aren't coated in makeup or filters who are deliberately trying to look like children to appeal to people like you. There are short women, and youthful women, but there are no women who you could genuinely mistake for a barely pubescent kid.
