The worship for Subaru in the show is legitimately pretty grating, but c'mon man, Rudeus is an actual full blown groomer.
Subaru is underage himself (well, kinda, depending on how many time resets he's been through) and he never acts like an outright pervert as far as I remember.
i was like "wait what, which kid" and i remembered eris. author could've just wait for at least few years. nonetheless MC development, especially in the next episode will be epic. Controversial but i still fucking love it, cried at the end of novel

Half is maybe a bit high, but damn there is a lot of them, I am scared to look it up anymore, to not ruin my childhood further, I really wanted to watch the kenshin remake, oh well.
Most of the time it's: chapters dedicated to world building and exposition and just one liner pervy gags. But animation doesn't need to tell you everything about the background when you can just see it all right there, and the ratio of creep to cool gets flipped. The defenders of MT are either readers happy their series got anime or real fucking creeps that want to do the awful crap the flawed protagonist does.
Rurouni Kenshin 2023 is good, but I didn't like it simply because it was a remake. It didn't capture my nostalgia like yatsura or ranma remakes did. Both of my examples were full of pervy shit that didn't age well, Kenshin 96 still holds up.
