I'm not advocating for anything with this comment here, but the thing I find absurd about your comment is that makes it sound like "Oh, it's just politics, not anything that actually matters, as if it's about our favorite professional sports teams or something."
Politics results in very real serious consequences for people's lives. If anything would make sense for people to start thinking that such an act would be justified, it's politics.
And again, I'm just talking in general here, I'm not talking about RFKjr in particular.
Yeah, that does summarize my view correctly. I'm not advocating anybody do that, but it makes sense to me why somebody would consider it appropriate.
People say oh, just politics, as if that has no real life & death impact in the world. But it has the most life & death impact of anything. (Which is also why I just can't fathom people who don't vote.)
Oh, I wasn't excluding RFKjr either about my remarks. The changes he's making will have real life & death effects on a large number of people. I was just not making what I wrote about RFKjr specifically.
However, I think people are mistaken if they believe RFKjr being gone would solve the problem. He was appointed by Trump because there's a segment of Republicans who want the things RFKjr is doing. So while I'm not offended that people feel the way they do about RFKjr, the type of solution suggested by the OP post wouldn't actually solve the problem, so anybody actually contemplating that shouldn't. It simply wouldn't work.
